As a Senior Marketing Technology Manager, you play a key role in defining and executing marketing technology strategies that support business objectives and enhance the customer life cycle. You oversee Martech platforms and operations, lead cross-functional collaboration, and guide teams in delivering multi-channel, data-driven campaigns. Combining strategic thinking with operational excellence, you ensure Martech initiatives are scalable, performance-driven, and continuously optimized to deliver meaningful customer experiences and long-term value.
Main Responsibilities
Martech Strategy & Governance
Define, own, and evolve Martech strategies aligned with business and customer experience objectives.
Translate business goals into actionable Martech roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Ensure scalability, consistency, and governance across Martech platforms and processes.
Evaluate existing Martech setups and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Campaign Enablement & Marketing Automation
Lead customer segmentation, journey design, and personalization strategies across channels.
Oversee the deployment and optimization of marketing automation workflows and life cycle campaigns.
Ensure best practices in campaign execution, testing, and continuous improvement.
Drive the effective use of data insights to enhance customer engagement and performance.
Platform Ownership & Operations
Own the day-to-day operation and optimization of Martech platforms, including Salesforce or similar tools.
Ensure data quality, system reliability, and alignment with privacy and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with IT and external/internal stakeholders to improve platform capabilities and integrations.
Monitor platform performance and campaign effectiveness, turning insights into action.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a project team of Martech specialists and managers. While the role involves leadership of initiatives and collaboration across teams, it is not however a formal people management position and does not include direct line management responsibilities.
Support regional marketing teams with training, guidance, and best practices.
Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and data teams to ensure aligned execution.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing Martech culture across teams and regions.
Qualifications That Ensure Success
5–7 years of experience in Martech, CRM or marketing automation roles.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar marketing automation platforms.
Strong understanding of customer data, segmentation, multi-channel campaign management, and analytics.
Proven experience in team leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery.
Ability to translate business objectives into effective Martech solutions and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive mindset.
Experience working in a global or distributed corporate environment.
Excellent communication skills in English and native Finnish

Competitive salary: Starting at €4500/month, based on experience and skills.
